# What is the process of hair smoothing?

Nowadays, different products and techniques are used as part of smoothing therapy, but the main stages are the same.  
  
Step 1  
  
Removing build-up from the cuticle surface and opening its layers for better further penetration;  
  
Step 2  
  
Applying keratin that penetrates into the cuticle, restores inner keratin bonds, repairs damaged areas and smoothes the hair shaft;  
  
Step 3  
  
Nourishing the hair with additional conditioning agents that strengthen the hair in addition to smoothing keratin effect;  
  
Step 4  
  
Shaping the hair straight with the help of a blow-dryer and hair straightener and sealing keratin inside of the hair to provide moisture resistance.
